Lunch & Learn
We look forward to helping you have a healthy workplace!
We have two main ways that we've helped local businesses. The first is an on-site lunch or brunch & learn. Dr. Krohse (rhymes with cozy) gives a very interesting 15-20 minute presentation on "How to Stay Young the First 100 Years at Work," as your coworkers enjoy a delicious meal provided by Compass Chiropractic. We spend a few minutes teaching simple, valuable exercises to reduce neck pain, upper back pain, and headaches. We have provided these lunch & learns for a number of local businesses including the Federal Home Loan Bank, National Pork Board, Hubbell Realty, City of Clive, Cook Plumbing, Infomax, Iowa Realty, LADCO, and Aspen Athletic Clubs with great feedback. A sample lunch & learn invitation is below and testimonial is to the left.
We’ll be happy to pick up the tab for a delicious lunch from your favorite restaurant or one of these popular choices:
- Biaggi’s Party Pans
- Granite City Take Out Pack
- Palmer’s Deli
- Jason's Deli
The second way we'd love to help promote health for area businesses is by participating in any future health fairs hosted at a business. Generally we bring in an instrument that measures muscle tension along the back and neck and displays it visually on a TV for participants. Then we're able to discuss whether the care available at our office might be able to help. If a larger health fair is not planned, we would be happy to visit onsite alone over a lunch hour to perform these quick health checks and answer any questions your coworkers may have.
Briefly, the focus of our office is to achieve rapid, lasting results through a combination of hands-on or gentle, instrument-assisted chiropractic care, Active Release Techniques muscle work, and therapeutic exercise and stretching instruction. We always welcome anyone to come in for a tour of our office or you can learn more at our website, www.compasschiro.com.
